My Newest Hot Item

Well, my husband's surprise got ruined. As we got home last night from picking up our Christmas tree, there was a large box sitting on our porch. I had groceries in my hand and all I could hear my husband saying was that's too big to be mine. Well, I decided to check and see if they had delivered to the wrong address. That's not uncommon since our lane has 3 addresses on it. So I bent down to check the name... Sure enough it was my husband's name and right underneath it in large capital letters it said: HEAT PRESS... Say what!!! You mean to tell me I struggled yesterday with my hot iron pressing heat transfer vinyl onto shirts for hours... Well, that didn't bother me for long...

He was a little bummed to say the least, but I think the smile on my face cheered him up considerably. We opened the box and took it into my new craft/design room!!! I immediately ran to my closet to find a shirt we could heat something to. I sat down on the laptop, turned on the Cricut and before I knew it there was a silver glitter design ready to put on my purple shirt!

We plugged it in... And waited... It took around 5 minutes for the machine to heat up to a toasty 325 degrees, but just as it did..... Everything went BLACK... Tripped the breaker.... So we flipped it again, I unplugged the extra items in the room, and we were back in business. As it hit 325 degrees I put the shirt on the platen lined up my design and got ready for our trial run.. I was slightly nervous, but excited to see what this bad boy could do!!! I closed the clam shell and waited for the 15 seconds to expire... (would have taken me at least 5-8 minutes to do this with my iron) The timer clicked and I opened the handle, took off the Teflon sheet, peeled off the hot peel, and there she was!!! My new and improved shirt!!! So excited can't wait to share more!

The vine monogrammed font can be purchased on Etsy from DigiFile. It was great and very very easy to use on Cricut.
